DEI: Shifting Approaches, Actions and Practices for Lasting Change
Learn about organization culture transformation through new initiatives and efforts. The topic of diversity and culture have become important conversations since the summer of 2020. While there has been changes in the industry as well as within organizations to support these efforts; there are still barriers and challenges facing this work. Often, these commitments come with a lack of resources or understanding that makes it difficult to sustain success.

 Learner Outcomes:

We will learn how Fortune 1000 companies are applying DEI into their strategic planning. And get examples of how companies are focusing on equitable initiatives while focusing on creating healthy work cultures. We will also get valuable insight on how a DMO is using DEI to attract new partners, business opportunities, and clients into their destination.

Please join us as our speakers will take us on a journey on the value and impact of DEI. This panel will discuss what efforts are working and share where we need to improve. We are excited to have this great panel, don’t forget to bring your questions.

Young Professional's Virtual Meet-up
12:00 - 1:00 PM (CST)
Young Professionals - Emotional Intelligence is key, awareness is everything. The more you understand you, the more you can build and excel your Personal Brand.
Join us February 9th, 2021 to learn how the Enneagram Personality Assessment reveals how emotions drive our lives and how we engage with others.
Step 1: Take the super quick and easy assessment to determine your enneagram type: https://www.crystalknows.com/enneagram-test
What is the Enneagram Personality Assessment?
  • The Enneagram is a personality system that reveals how emotions drive our lives and how we engage with others.
  • The Enneagram defines nine personality types, each with its own set of strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for personal growth.

Why?  Being able to understand the basic motivations of different personality types can help one communicate and relate to others. Understanding similarities and differences between personality types can give you the skillset necessary to work better with colleagues and can improve how you show up to your coworkers. Everyone has fears and desires; we may seem different on the surface, but in reality, we are all seeking similar things: connection, understanding, support and acceptance.
When? Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 12:00 -1:00 PM CST
